On march 27th I had a problem with my garage door with a broken spring. I contacted this company who stated that they would send a man out. He arrived shortly thereafter, his name was "Matt" whom I discovered later that he was a co owner.

Upon arrival he took one look at the door and said that it would cost between $300 and $400 to repair. I complained at the price and he stated that it was average and may cost more depending on what he found.

About 15 minutes later he called me and showed me that the cables would need replacing also the door runners (that seemed okay to me) required replacing as well as the wheels that the cables ran on and the price would now be $800. He had taken all apart and I had no option than to go ahead with the job although I knew I was being ripped off.

The total time for the job was 1 hour exactly and I ever received a list of the parts replaced nor did I see the used parts he stated he replaced. I called a few dealers who quoted me from $175 to $250 to replace the springs and stated that I had been ripped off. Matt even went so far to insist that I purchase a surge protector for the motor at a cost of $30 thus getting back the so called service charge. The net is full of complaints for this company. I wrote them and suggested that a fair price might have been $500 and to refund the balance. No response
