Schneider is a cheap, deceptive, and lying company

Schneider started their lies right off the bat. When I talked to the recruiter for the GEO account, she gave me a specific amount I would make each week. When I got thru my training and went to the actual job site there was a big catch. They have some kind of 5/6 day schedule and I would'nt get the amount promised me unless I worked the 6 day. They never told me of the 5/6 day! Schneider has these contact people called DBL's. They handle all your schneider business. You can never get ahold of them. I had a couple of discrepancies with my pay and was unable to get ahold of my DBL. This is very frustrating as they are the only ones you can contact. Schneider does everything on the cheap! They've been out here in Victoria about a year and still did'nt have a yard. We parked the trucks at a truckstop. When they got a yard, It's so small it's not equipped to hold all of the trucks so you have a cluster#$%^ when trucks come in and go out. There is no lighting, no accomodations whatsoever for the drivers. They plan on getting a building in the futue for the office people (the people who don't do anything) and drivers are not allowed. Schneider makes the Lead drivers work out of the own vehicles. Schneider has the raggediest trucks on the road. I don't think they have one in their fleet that could pass a DOT inspection. This could present serious problems with the new CSA laws.

Schneider does'nt care about their drivers especially on the GEO account. It's all about the dollar with them. They make decisions without any consideration to how it will affect the drivers. I personally have hung in there because I had hopes that things would get better. They have gotten drastically worse!

I'm looking for another job. One more thing. Schneider is hiring new drivers at a considerably less amount of pay than when I started.
