Target's new return policy is a theft scam!
If you return a product after 90 days, it counts as a non-receipt return regardless of whether or not you have a receipt with the return. This is preposterous. It makes sense to only receive partial credit if purchase proof (ie reciept) cannot be validated. However, it does not make sense to steal from people who CAN provide proof of purchase!
The worst part is Target's attitude toward customers. When I contacted guest relations to question this policy, they merely offered canned responses and attempted to put me on the defensive for trying to push my way through as an "exception" to their policy. That was NOT my intention. I merely wanted justification for their theft.
Who wants to shop at a store that steals from its customers?!?!
NOT ME! Think twice before giving away your hard-earned money!
