Uyer beware! Manufacture rip-off

Anyone who is interested in buying fire or emergency equipment from CRS Industries located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, might need to take a good long look at how they do business.

Our fire department ordered a truck from them and it took over a year past the date they promised it to deliver. Repeated calls to them resulted in NOTHING being done. We sent people to visit the site once to see what was being done and nothing had been done after 8 months of waiting. Keep in mind this was 8 months AFTER the thing was supposed to be delivered. Our phone calls were NEVER answered and they were many I promise you. We even sent spies to check on the progress of our truck under the pretense of being prospective buyers. They reported that NOTHING had been done to the truck even after we had visited them a few months earlier. The only thing we ever got from CRS was promises and then threats if we continued to ask for our truck to be delivered.
Another fire department in our area traveled to Pawhuska to purchase a skid mounted unit for firefighting. The fine folks at CRS assured the buyer from that department that they could providse one for a better price than any of the competitors could offer. After traveling 400 miles to see if the unit would work for them CRS didn't have the unit ready to pump. The fireman asked to see the unit pump to assure it would perform as hoped. Again CRS true to form couldn't even find anyone who could make the thing run. The battery was dead they said. When asked if they could find a battery they refused. "Come back tomorrow" they told him. At his own expense he did thinking this deal was too good to pass up and he had assured everyone at home he would return with the unit. The following day he was told there was nobody there to bring the unit out to pump it. After that problem was solved they again could not find a battery and it apparently was not within their capabilities to jump start the unit so the fireman could pump it. Needless to say there was no sale that day and there will never be another sale in this part of the country as every department within a hundred miles has heard the stories.
