Lousy experience with new DeLand, Fl. Store check out.

I'm 70 years old and shop weekly at save a lot. I spend $60 -90 a trip. No More trips to this store!

A Employee, Ariel, will not put my goods in a box that I put in the cart —I don't need to be moving these items 3 times! Her reason " we're not baggers". My GOD their arm is going to move to put stuff in the basket if there is a box or not—It's not like being overworked! She has gone as far as taking the cardboard box out, stuffing it under the cart, then putting the stuff all over in the same cart!

Apparently she "TRAINS" new people to do the same. My last visit, I asked the girl to Please put the stuff in the box that filled the basket. She said " WE ARE NOT ALLOWED"!!!

I told her she could re stock them and left!

If this procedure is in the job description or Company Policy, I'd sure like a copy.

I have returned to the older Save A Lot in DeLand, Fl. For shopping. I discussed the problem with a manager. He, without my saying, knew WHO I was talking about at the new store!

This store has no problem with putting purchases in the box already inside the cart and therefore will keep my business.

I think this policy being allowed to continue Is BAD for business and ARIEL should be put straight or let go!
