UST False Invoice

I got a call from one of our satellite offices asking if I ordered Telecom mainenance, as they just received an invoice for $425.00. I was not aware of the order, but as there are several divisions in my organization that work with voice vendors I said I'd check around.in the meantime, I received a similar invoice at my office for the same amount.

After confirming none of our divisions placed the order, I called UST. First time left a message. No return call. After four attempts I finally got through to what sounded like a young woman. I asked her what the invoice was for. She told me, very quickly and somewhat muffled tone some details then very clearly said, just send a check to the address listed. I asker her to repeat herself. She said they would provide maintenance on our phone systems.

When I asked for a name of who ordered this service, she stated no one. It was an offer by her company and that no services had been provided. I told her to take us of her list.

I work for a state government entity. Showing these crooks have no boundaries. Beware! They are trouble!!
