Charged for extra shirt and 7.50 shipping on defective return

I called KingSize men's clothing after ordering from their catalog and receiving a defective shirt, which I sent back. I wanted to see if they had received it.

The clerk I spoke with asked if I would like to exchange it, and I said yes. When I checked my card, I saw that another shirt and 7.50 in shipping had been added. During our conversation I never said that I would pay for anything.

When I called KingSize, the clerks I talked to said that, first, I could not cancel an order I had placed less than 10 hours earlier, and that at some point in the future they would credit me for the shirt. I would have to pay for the return shipping even though the shirt was defective and it was their fault. I would also have to buy the shirt that I no longer want and send it back, paying another shipping fee.

Do not ever buy anything from KingSize or kingsizedirect.com.
