Finding out who is telling the truth about this place is real easy folks.

First, ask any veterinarian in the Spring/Woodlands area about Heidelberg and it's owner, Eugene Thompson. Just pick one.in fact, pick several.

Second, call the Better Business Bureau. They give Heidelberg an "F".

Next, read the reviews on other sites. The stories are literally horrifying. If I had checked up on this place perhaps I would not have had a similar experience with them. They are unspeakably sinister.

Finally, go to the Montgomery County Courthouse and do a little recreational reading if you have the stomach for it. Eugene Thompson's history, values, decency, and character are all on display as a matter of public record.
