Flew from Alabama to purchase for $900, when I got there price went up $2500, and stated I had to show dog

After talking to the owner a numerous time over the phone. I was told none of his dogs was priced over $900. The same was said once I flew in from Alabama. After having them to take out the two puppies I was going to choose from, he started screaming these are my best two dogs, I know they will be champions. The price went from $900 to $2500 and he stated I had to sign contract that I would show the dog. I guess he figure a man from alabama wasn't knowledgable about Shepherds. But after reading all the reports, I guess he did me a favor. I did purchase a puppy from Birmingham and is quite satisfied with her. It would be a great a idea if potential buyers would research the breed to know what to look for.
