Tried to make me pay $1,400

Shops, Products, Services

I've been recieving calls from different states in the united states. They would be coming from New York, Arizona, and others I can't think of right now. When i answered they knew my name and well obviously my number.

They told me that i had opened an account and that i owed $1,400 worth of magazines. I stated that i never opened an account and never recieved any type of magazine from them. The guy was very rude and kept insisting that i did and that he needed to charge the amount that was owed.

He said that he would close the account only if i paid $300. I got mad and hung up. My co-worker then called the number back and a man answered and she asked him for the Corporate Name and number and he just hung up. We looked up that number online and it was a landline is Los Angeles.

They kept insisting and calling saying that they needed me to pay what i owed. This is all a scam.!! Never give out your information out to any stranger.!!! They are all a rip off that are trying to make money any way possible!

They need to be in jail!!
