U.S. National Properties
Is a ripoff

I found information from a local magazine reagrding deals that a person could receive by calling a toll free number for the company listed above.

I called the number and talked with a representative with U.S. National Properties and be fore I knew it, I was giving out my checking account number for material. I was given a price of 19.95 for the materail. I didn't think this was too bad.

When I checked my statement, my account had been drafted for around 119.00.

When I called to cancel the product, I was told to fill out the return form. While on the phone trying to get this cancled, I was given a testimonial number by an issuing agent named Maria and my refund would be for $98.45.

The authorized date of this cancellaton/phone call was 9/28/01. The orignal order was placed on 8/9/01. I was told that I would get a refund in 90 days.

I have written the company reagrding the refund just before the 90 days were up.

I have not heard a thing from the company. On 12/30/01, I tried calling the 1-800 number and I do get a recorded message and them i am told my wait will be 8 minutes.

I was prepard the wait this time, but I was cut off after the end of the message. Not once, but 5 seperate times without ever speaking to a representative of U.S. National Properties.

Please, don't be " Ripped off " like I have been. The $98.45 may not be a huge amount to some, but it is to me and it's truly about principles.

With everything going on in today's world, we have organizations that do this to people. Someone needs to put a damper on the practices that they particiapte in. Thanks
