MagicJack LP Unable to Renew Service and Tech Support is completely useless

I am in IT Tech Support and I deal with a large number of MagicJack customers on an annual basis. However, I am constantly challenged with customers service with respect to service renewal and tech support.

The customer service personnel on the chat sessions are completely powerless to help and most of the time is will take either days or weeks, or sometimes never, to get the magicjack service renewed.

And is you think that is bad, it is impossible to reach them on the telephone as they claim that there is no tech support telephone number to call. And even further, you are almost always transferred to one of their "Top 10% Agents", and after they review your case, the only thing they say, is that they have notified the right department. Finally, and when you attempt to get a timeframe as to possible resolution, they can give you absolutely no answer.

The fact is that MagicJack is making it extremely difficult to renew the service and almost always claims it is a credit card processing issue when I am fully aware that virtually all of my clients have very good credit histories.

Anyway, if/when you do get the service renewed, you have lost days/weeks of service, because the service is not renewed for a full year at the time of payment, they renew it from the date it expired.

Take note that they have now raised their prices by about 50% making the service uncompetitive to the alternative, which I am now reviewing as a viable alternative.
