In October I was involved in a catastrophic automobile accident when a driver ran a red light and caused a collision in the middle of an intersection. At the time, three other drivers left their information for me as eye witnesses; two were in the two lanes beside me and one was a cab driver who had been following the driver that caused the collision.

In eight years, my lawyer NEVER interviewed any of the witnesses, never got witness statements, never conducted an examination of discovery and never had a settlement conference with the insurance company.

The insurance company, by the way, held the other driver 80% responsible for the accident. However, after they settled their case with that driver, they changed their mind (business tactic) and disputed liability.

My lawyer ended up quiting after the insurance company got fed up with his office forgetting to set trial dates TWICE and by not providing them information that they had requested.

I was left with no representation although finally, another lawyer tried their best to help me but my previous scum bag lawyer, refused to provide any documents or information relating to the accident unless my new lawyer paid approximately $50,000 in disbursements.

I lost my case and ended up owing the insurance company over $100,000 in legal costs. I am was also left permanently disabled and now live on less than $10,000 year in government disability benefits.
