Oasis Moving and Storage
Oasis lost or stole our items in their storage warehouse before moving the rest of the load to us

On Nov. 7th, Oasis picked up items in a Las Vegas home and put them in their "24 hour 365 days a year security taped" warehouse until there was a full trailer of items heading east. On Dec 5the, the truck arrived with only half the load and the driver rushed me to sign here, here and here and said about the rest of the load that this was all he had on his trailer and if I needed to file a clainm, I had 3 days to do it.

I did file a claim immediately with Oasis. The warehouse supervisor said he would have to talk to the dispatchers and warehouse people to find out what happened to the products they picked up and placed ID tape on. It wasn't until the beginning of January that the dispatcher finally admitted that the items (valued at $6000) were not to be found and that she forwarded our order to the claims department.

Today (January 23rd) i find out from the claims department that the will have Oasis pay the claim at $. 60 per pound if the items even though in their contracts there is nothing that states while in their possesion, they still will only pay the piddly amount.

They lost the items and now refuse to pay for them. These were irreplaceable family heirlooms and paintings that they simply lost. We are not accepting their $60 per pound claim and plan to follow up with legal action. These people seem to be doing this to a lot of people. Losing items and getting away with paying the paltry sum.
