Executive Network Associates Deceptive recruiting practices! Rip-off!

I received the following, unsolicited email this morning:

I came across your resume and was impressed. While I don't work in your area, some colleagues of mine do and may be able to help you with your job search, and more importantly, help you assess your marketability. Executive Network Associates is part of a network of agencies that contract with and work strictly on behalf of high-quality management and executive level professionals.

Would it be alright if I forward! Ed your information and suggest they call you? If so, just reply below with an attached resume.

Being curious, i googled 'executive network associates'. I was confused when i found a search firm in ct that specializes in recruiting for the pharmaceutical, retail and apparel industries. I don't work in any of these and my resume clearly shows i don't. I then found the bad business bureau web site.

It's unfortunate people perpetuate scams like this one. I hope enough people will learn from the reports on this web site and put an end to this scam.
