Com rip-off! Bait & switch! Don't waste your time or money!

Found multiple copies of a book offered on their website at a lower price than Amazon. Amazon.com showed only a few books left but since ecampus.com had them for a lower price and with a reasonable shipping time. I ordered the book from ecampus.

On the ecampus website they make it look like they ship the books out in one week. After three weeks I wrote them asking for an update. They said the book was being re-released and the new copies would be coming in a couple weeks. Three weeks later they sent me a cancellation saying they can not supply the book.

In the meantime, the book went out of print. I could have bought the book from Amazon for around $10 and it was supposedly available on ecampus for about $8.50. Now the book can only be found for $45.00 on up through the new and used buying from resellers option on Amazon.

Thanks to ecampus I will probably need to pay more than 4 times the original price because of their false advertising.

The book is still offered on their site today. The site says a new release is coming out. I checked with the publisher today and they say they are not going to release any new editions. Ecampus.com must be using the book as bait when people do a search for it on the internet because in my case I bought another book in the meantime while I was waiting (and never receiving) for the original book I ordered.

Try this. Do a search on www.bookfinder.com for Trammell Crow Master Builder (paperback). You'll find a link to ecampus offering the book, new and at a discount. Or go to ecampus.com and do a search for the book.

Slick false advertising I would say.
