Ecampus.com doing business with overseas outfits

I ordered a textbook from the ecampus.com site. I entered a specific ISBN number, title and author. The information on the site was that the book was in stock. I therefore completed the order.
On November 30, I received the book. However, it was shipped from ecampus. It was shipped from an outfit called "Becauseyouread" located in Bangkok, Thailand. The book they shipped was not the book I ordered. It had a different ISBN number. The book says "International Edition" and it has a different title. It does have the same author. The book also says in bold letters "Not for Sale in the United States". The information that came with the book states that it is the same book as what I ordered. Since I don't have a book to compare, I cannot possibly verify this. The book that was shipped to me does not have the required CD that is included in the book I ordered.
I contacted ecampus.com on December 1. They said that they are not responsible. They gave me an email address to marketplace@ecampus.com. I emailed them and the response I received said they are the 3rd party vendor to sellers of textbooks. They said they were not responsible and told me that I would have to contact the seller & located in Bangkok, Thailand.
I feel totally ripped off. I purchased through ecampus.com. I expect them to make me whole and fix this mess. I had no clue that they outsourced ordered to shady overseas companies.
Please BEWARE of this practice. I would recommend that people not order through ecampus because of this.
