Not accepting return of a $4.99. Defective item without the receipt

This complaint is not a high level cash amount. However, it is one of dealer not backing their product. I purchased a face shield a few days ago hr #96542, for a big $4.95... This was the only item I purchased that day. Who saves a cash receipt for $ 4.95??? Unless its a big ticket item. Now here is the problem with it. You can not See Through it clearly, it has a Blue color to it. Therefore I could not grind the steel part. Also, the asst. Mgr. Repeatedly told me I need a Receipt! Thats my story... Harbor Freight will definetly get less business from me, if any... Tony... Toms River, NJ
