Ripoff Was harassed and swore at by a sales rep

I used to be a faithful customer of Dish Network. I now have Direct TV. I miss Dish, but decided to switch because of their billing. I tried to contact Customer Service to discuss my bill with them. I had signed people up under me and was to receive credit for that. I made my payment to them and I waited for the payment to post to my account. I checked daily since the payment was sent late.

On the 10th day just a few hours before they were going to shut my service off, I called and asked to speak to a Supervisor. I informed him I was not happy that it was taken so long for my payment to post. I was repeatedly told "It takes 7-10 business days." I responed with "If that's the case then the same day I receive the bill in the mail, I better pay it." I got a stupid response.

The next day, I checked once again to see if my payment posted. It had. It had also cleared my bank the day before on Thursday. Now I'm mad. I called them and asked them how this could possibly happen? Once again I received a stupid response. I decided to cancel and get Direct TV. Didn't think it would be a big deal until I received another bill from them.

I tried to call the Customer Service # on the statement and went thru all the press this press that crap. When I tried to get to Customer Service, I was only given option #1. Pay by credit card. I waited for other options and was told "to repeat these options (all 1 of them) press 2.

Now I can't even talk to Customer Service. I then after numerous and several attempts to talk to someone, I called on my cell phone so they could't trace my # to the account. I ended up pressing the sales dept hoping they could get me to CS. I explained what I was calling about, and that I tried to over ride the message I was getting by hitting O and was told by a recorded message I needed to pay my bill first in order to talk to a Customer Service Rep. This so called sales person started arguing with me and telling me the only people who have a problem with them are the ones who don't pay their bill. He proceeded to tell me that my account was sent to a collection agency. I told him I was fine with that since I would probably have a better chance disputing it. I terminated the conversation.

About 5 minutes later my phone rang and guess what, it was the same Salesperson I had talked to just minutes before. He informed me he was calling about my bill. I asked him " I just talked to you and you told me my account was sent to a collection agency; if that the case why was he calling me to collect it?" I asked to speak to a supervisor. I thought he was putting me on hold while he got one, but I heard him cup his hand over the phone as if he didn't want the people on either side to hear him, and I heard him call me a BITC* three times. I informed him I heard that, and I wanted a supervisor. He then proceeded to call me a Fuc* Bitc*. I didn't play into his game, and kept asking to talk with a supervisor. He then started calling me a Fuc* Whor*. By this time, I about to laugh and asked him if he was psycho? He then called me a Fuc* Psycho Bitc* Whor*. I asked him to either get me a supervisor, or hang up. He chose to hang up but not before he repeated all of the splendid names he had chosen before. Just before he hung up, I was able to inform him I had caller ID and that my aswering machine has a recorder on it.

I called after this to talk to someone about my experience, and once again had to use my cell phone. I asked if they would call me back. They did. I was given to a supervisor and was told a manager would call me back. That was Thursday of last week. Still waiting.
