Rude scammers

Diverisified Consultants call me about an old Verizon bill. I have filed complaints against Verizon with various agencies for a bill that they falsely claim I owe them. I tried to explain the situation to Diversified and they were extremly rude, threatning, and belligerant. This has to be illegal and if someone knows how to make a formal complaint against them, please help.
