Ripoff - three month old golden retriever puppy died and they ignore our phone calls. Linda said she would make it right, but we are heartbroken and out 575.00

On January 9th, we bought a precious, happy and delightful golden retriever puppy from Super Puppy's in Coral Springs, Florida. They had named him Rocky and it suited him, so we kept his name Rocky.

For three months, we loved and adored him. He was happy and full of love and life. He was growing beautifully. We enrolled him in obedience training and he graduated top in his class. He was very smart and a quick learner and so eager to please. He was soft as silk and had a beautiful little face.

Rocky developed a disease called HOD (hypertrophic osteodystropy) which is very rare and affects fast growing large breed dogs. He had a severe fever and was completely lame. We were told he would get through this in 3-5 weeks, so we were determined to do whatever it took to keep him as comfortable as possible.

Rocky's condition worsened and we took him to Hollywood Animal Hospital for the second time. They did everything they could to save him, but he developed pnemonia and his little heart stopped beating on April 7th at 11:30pm. Poor little precious angel. We are heartbroken and miss him so much.

It has been well over a month since we contacted Super Puppy's about his death. Linda wanted all of the vet reports which we got her immediately. Even in our grief, our 2 sons wanted a new puppy right away. She asked us what we wanted. We told her and she offered us a puppy that was not right for our family. So she said we'd have to wait.

She said she would call us, but never has. She said she wanted everyone to be happy, but we are not. We spent almost $3,000 to try to save him and he is gone and Linda could not possibly care less. She got her money and we have nothing. Be careful when you buy from her. If anything happens to your puppy, she'll just stomp on your heart even more and do nothing.
