Refund Delayed After Card Failed for International Purchases

I purchased a Green Dot card because it stated that it was valid for international purchases and immediate availability of funds. However, when I contacted them to notify them that it was to be used internationally, I was told I would have to wait 1.5 weeks to get my other card to do that (missing my Christmas deadline). I told them I wanted a refund. A supervisor told me one would be sent the next day (12/5).

I called the morning of 12/5 to check the status of the refund and was not able to get to a customer service agent. After calling 1800-473-3636, I got to a person and a supervisor. The supervisor told me it was n7 days until my check would be cut and mailed to me. After 45 minutes of arguing, I was transferred to another person who, after 20 minutes, agreed to get me my return. We will see if it actually shows. No one tells you a name when they answer, so it is kind of hard to go after certain people. Do not do business with these people! There are better services to use!
