A-Action Home Inspection Group
The Arlington Home Inspection False Advertising, Unsatisfactory Report, Non-Compliance with Warranty and Refund Policy

Shops, Products, Services

A-Action inspected a home I was planning to purchase on 9/9.

The home received a clean bill of health, when in fact it turned out both the roof and gutters needed to be replaced entirely. The gutters were completely damaged; new ones with screen guard had to be installed.

The inspection report also said that 'All components of the roof were found to be in satisfactory condition' when in fact, it needed replacing in its entirety. When contacted about this issue (both in writing and by phone), the company owner refused to take any action under the excuse that 'I was provided a service'. I explained that I did not trust the inspection report any longer based on the major oversights (what else did they miss?) and wanted to know what he would do to 'make it right'. I did not necessarily want to start a formal complaint. I trusted he would stand by his policies and volunteer a resolution.

I suggested he think about it and call me back. He never did.

A-Action's website advertises a full customer satisfaction guarantee and a 200% refund! None of this appears to be true. The inspection cost me $430.00 and prompted me to purchase the home. I now have a new roof and new gutters and I am VERY concerned about what else I am going to find...
