EX RECEPTIONIST-Required unnecessary funds from prospective employees ripoff

I am sure they are not in NC anymore from what I have read they are in Atlanta. This is coming from somoeone who used to work for them, I was their receptionist at the Charlotte office and I worked there for almost 3 months before I over heard what was really going on and asked some questions.

Kevin Fuqua ran that office and his partner Nathan Greene who is no longer with the company I think. Nathan was a good hearted fellow but still participated in the acts of the company. I over heard them talking about how much money they had gotten that day and how they were going to go out that night and get drunk and get a stripper. (they hired alot of people that day too) They layed so much BS on me, pushing me to get people in the door and one of these reports mentions me - Not my name but "the eager secretary". I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON! Like the rest of you. But that night I guess they went out and rolled in the office at 10:00 the next morning when I had 2 appointments scheduled for them at 9:00 and it was my duty to open the office. And I HAD to entertain the people until they got there, not to mention I was their wake up call. Pathetic.

I was then asked to learn ther BS orientation so in case it happened again I could go ahead with the interview process. They always tried to get me to stay in their homwe and Kevin would rub my sholders and make me feel uncomfortable and I said something to Nathan once cause I figured he'd say something to Kevin and he did allright and Kevin made fun of me calling me a child and talking in baby voices about making me feel uncomfortable - Wish I woulda smacked him! I met the scrawny president his wife, JAMIE and their deformed daughter (poor kid) He sexually harassed me too, boasting about his mercedes with the extending pedals.

My mom called me one morning which was my last day and told me that I needed to leave now cause they were on usacomplaints.com and my mom never tells me what to do. I then asked Kevin what they did with the money ($75 reg. Fee or back ground check) and he said they really didn't need to collect it, and Nathan informed me that they never even ran a background check. So then I told Nathan I was leaving cause they were on usacomplaints.com and he said those are just people who didn't get the opportunity to run their own office - they are jealous OK WHATEVER I said and told him to have a nice day and they thanked me for my work and I was out the door. And it's funny I get a job working in the Independence Towers again a couple months later and I am good friends with the building maintenance manager Rob, and he told me they were still there and I ignored them like the plague, well 1 week later Rob comes up to me and tells me the Fire Marshall was going to do a saftey check on the office since they did fire displays and he opened the office and everything was gone - Didn't even pay their rent. Sorry bastards!

This company is BS and after I quit I even called the Charlotte Observer and got them to stop running the ad - well they changed their name and phone number and began the same ad in the paper. You know what can you do except something like this?! I know it's been a while since I have worked there - I should have posted sooner, I probably would have saved some others some $. SORRY GUYS! Just don't fall for it! And yes Kevin is divorced - his wife has nothing to do with him - He told me that himself - Yeah cause he's a slimy asshole, who would want him.
