MINNEAPOLIS - A Good Samaritan shot and killed a mugging suspect in the
parking lot of a south Minneapolis Chinese buffet after the man robbed
and pistol-whipped an elderly woman on the same block.

According to the report a man who shot and killed another man is called a "Good Samaritan". My understanding of a good Samaritan is a person who helps a victim of unfortunate circumstances and has nothing to do with perpetrating violence or killing! The article said that the "Good Samaritan" chased down and shot and killed the mugger.
