While searching for a new job, another website submitted me to "dozens" of recruiter websites. This was the only one that contacted me.

It seemed impressive at first. "Linda" e-mailed me and said that they wanted me to have a telephone conference with a member of their team (Why just two people is a conference is beyond me). They asked me to pick between two times. I choose the one (8AM), and never got a call.

At 8:45PM, I did get a call from Mike. He apologized for not calling me eariler, and we had our "conference" which included joining a web session with him wheere he showed all sorts of nice neat things, and then told me that I needed needed to have my resume professionally made over and he just so happened to have a place he recommends.

He told me I was a great candidate and that Linda (The person who first contacted me) would be my actual personal recruiter, and that I should expect a lot from her in the next few days.

What I got from Linda was cookie cutter e-mails asking me questions that I already answered and were found in my resume, and stressing again that I should have a professional re-write.

I answered her questions and tweo days later got another cookie cutter response saying that they are working for me, but while I am waiting she found other jobs (Not through them) that I should apply for, because they seem a perfect fit.

What she sent were three jobs about as far away from the job I am looking for.

I responded and asked why she sent those to me, and reiterated what it was I was looking for and could she please get back in touch with me.

Two days after that I got the same cookie cutter e-mail with the same three jobs.

As I had Mike's number, I called him and I kept getting runaround answers such as "she's swamped", "She's just busy", "I'm e-mailing her right now and you should hear from her soon".

In fact, it has been 7 days since I heard from her and I've not once received a personal e-mail.

The clincher that I was dealing with rip-off artists is when I decided to go to their website. They are using FPO pictures from Big Stock Photo. How do I know this? Well, their pictures all seem to be low-res, and then their CONTACT US page has the huge watermark for Big Stock Photo.

To surmise: They are scam artists who seem only interested in having you buy a professional resume re-written by a website I can only assume is also owned by them. Both are registered by domainsbyproxy, via godaddy.com, and while that isn't a slam dunk piece of evidence, it's more than coincidence as far as I am concerned.
