I would like to tell anyone who has heard of The Hiring Coach (thehiringcoach.com) to stay away from them. They are a ripoff!
I found this service on LinkedIn, a popular professional networking site. It states that it is run by "professional recruiters" and for only $15 or $25 they will review your resume and provide you with the modifications needed to get interviews.
Well, for most of us people looking for a job this sounds like a great opportunity. But it is not. I first sent in my resume, following their directions, then paid my bill through PayPal. I was supposed to get my resume revision within 72 hours.
I received nothing. I tried to follow-up, 3 different times, and received nothing. This is nothing more that a useless putz trying to take advantage of unemployed workers.
Stay away from this service! Is is most definitely a SCAM!
