Hollister
Manager was rude

I just got hired by Abercrombie & Fitch and I had the privilege of using an employee discount in that store and Hollister since they are the same company. I didn't have the intention of shopping at Hollister but one day me and my family were at Town Center shopping mall in Boca Raton, Florida and my mom wanted to check out Hollister. We got about $290 worth of merchandise and when I went to pay, I asked them if I could use the employee's discount after the cashier rung me up. The guy said he has to ask the manager and immediately I could tell she was a bitch. She said to me in a very sharp tone of voice: "next time you need to tell the cashier that you are an employee before they ring you up because this is a waste of time" but i kept my temper. When they rung me up again and I paid, the manager gave me the receipt and said "thanks for the inconvenience" and stalked off. The 2 cashiers in front of me just laughed and didn't even try to apologize. Now before you start throwing insults at me, I've only used the employee discount once before and that was for my uniform that I needed for work. The assistant manager did not specify that I needed to inform them of my employment and hand them my employee card before checkout when I went for orientation. I wasn't much embarrassed as I was angry. I was a new employee and I know I should not get mad because she didn't know but seriously, I'm not just an employee, I'm a customer, too. She needs to take a happy pill or just get fired. The cashiers didn't seem like they were fond of her either.
