On Sept 27 (Tuesday) at approx 8am, we paid alliant energy a past due payment, on that same day they turned our power off to our business (restaurant). At 10:45 am I went to work, then noticed we had not power, so I left. All while I thought I needed a break anyway. A couple hours later I come to find out the outside lights are on, while passing the building from a local store, I had been at. So I figure they had turned the power back on, since we had paid. I show up at work today and there was an alliant energy truck in the parking lot, he stated to me that he came to turn the power on, but it was already on, I related yes, you guys turned it on the same day, after we had called. He said no we did not, so he turned the power off, now with no bill, no power and no business in operation, am doomed, and we never touched a meter, but all my products are in jepardy, but they can do nothing. I didn't owe them nothing. Call the police, file a compliant, they said, I ask, will I get my money back! NO, So why file?
