My loved ones went hiking at Foxwood Family Campground within the Pocono Mtns.in Pennsylvania. On August 20. We prepared on remaining 3 times. Once we were establishing our van within our designated site we observed dead bushes in most regions of the website. We put up our pop up and wished there could be no strong winds. The bathhouse was really dirty with windows cracked out. We'd to wash the pool ourselves before utilizing it. There have been forgotten travelers placing everywhere with wildlife residing in and under them. We're able to create due using the conditions to date. We have been hiking alot and experienced the great and also the poor. The 2nd day-we woke up, had breakfast, and headed towards the nearby waterpark at 10:30 am. A powerful thunderstorm came up plus they shut the playground. We went back again to the campground at 2:30 pm. Whenever we reached the website we noticed a lot of limbs in the really lifeless bushes had dropped on our van placing a pit within the fabric and treating our mattress. I advised Eva in the office by what had occurred and questioned when they had a spot package that people might have. She appeared indifferent and didn't apologize and stated she did'nt understand when they had one I ought to look myself. They did'nt so we'd to depart. At around 4:15 pm we stuffed anything up within the pouring water and passed within the entrance key to Eva and informed her we'd to depart. I required they return our 2 evenings because it was their neglect of the campground that triggered us to depart. She stated she'd keep in touch with the homeowners and contact me. She did contact and stated (really smugly) they'd just refund 1 evening since we remained all day long about the 21st and today we would like a return. I had been informed by Eva (the homeowners declined to contact and keep in touch with me) that I've togo through my insurance (which we-don't have on our pop up) plus they might contact theirs, nevertheless never apologizing for the totally terrible stay at their HOUSEHOLD campground.
