Misrepresentation, vandalism, and theft

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had to endure. I was given a quote over the phone, which was $200 less than what I was charged on the day of the move due to fees that I wasn't told about, and also that they told me the move should take 3 hours. I was moving a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom less than 5 blocks away. It ended up being 4 1/2 hours, 2 hours more than it took my mother, my sister and I to move my things (and we are three inexperienced movers). I was told certain "requirements" the movers had the day they showed up to complete the move, things that were never discussed with the representative, such as what kind of boxes I needed, how things should be packed, tc. Etc. I have broken items, and missing items that I will consider stolen until returned. After reaching out the customer service department 11 times (eight by phone, three by email), I was treated with complete and utter disrespect, unprofessionalism, and outright rude behavior. I was yelled over by the manager and then was hung up on. I have a pending complaint to the BBB, and am going to take this organization to court, if only for the fact to add extra work/stress to them. If anyone reading this would like to contact me, please feel free to do so, as I have several contacts/business relationships with a local TV station, and am going to bring this to their attention as a business to be leary of within the metro area. I will never recommend this company to anyone; I will, in fact, convince people to NOT use this service.
