I worked with Korzu Taplin on a film right after she was assistant producer on Trapped: Haitian Nights. (http://filmcriticsunited.com/haitiannights.html)
I responded to an ad on Craigslist to work on a Vitamin Water fitness video and she told me that I would be getting paid 300, reimbursed for gas and parking and that I would work for Beyonce because she knew people. She never ended up paying me and I've never known anything about this fitness video being on MTV and VH1 like she said. If you encounter her and she wants you to work on her film... STAY AWAY! She clearly hates white people because the whole time I was on set she was talking about them... She was setting us black people back about 70 years and I didn't like that. She was unprofessional because she yelled at us every couple of minutes. She is unorganized because she kept losing things and yelling at everyone to help her find it. From what I found out later was that she never paid anyone and half of the crew left before production was over. I stayed to give her the benefit and think she was a good sista but she was the worst business woman I've ever met in my life. I think she may be mentally challenged. Who knows! Stay far far far away!
