Unauthorized charge of $29.95 on my debit card, they we're only authorized for $1.00. Refusing to refund money

I authorized a 1 time charge of $1.00 on my debit card to have my credit checked to by a house. They are now charging an additional $29.95 on my account which was not authorized by myself. When I spoke with a supervisor they claimed I started a memborship which I did not and they don't want to refund my money.
