Bait and switch with My Coke Rewards points redemption, previews a low price, actual cost is higher Internet

Shops, Products, Services

MyCokeRewards.com (MCR) offers members the opportunity to acquire for 135 Coke points a "$50 Designer Sunglasses E-Gift Certificate" from RedeemHere.com. MCR members are provided with the opportunity to preview the sunglasses selection and prices at RedeemHere.com by clicking on a guest preview link (http://www.redeemhere.com/index. Jsp? PID=8916).

The sunglasses selection and purchase prices displayed on the preview do not match the actual selection or prices that are available once the E-Gift Certificate is acquired from MCR and the shopper logs in with the credentials provided with the certificate. Specifically, the preview shows a greater variety of sunglass models and lower prices. The inaccurate preview prices are a reasonable bargain, but the actual prices are higher than market value. The value of the E-Gift Certificate is negated by the higher-than-previewed actual price.

There is no contact information available anywhere on redeemhere.com, and there is also not a method for complaint for MCR members.
