Aol
Rip off Extortion - employees are misleading & won't let you cancel

Shops, Products, Services

I called AOL in October to cancel the free service they offered me, at that time they told me I still had another month of free service.

I called back in November to cancel and at that time I was told I still had free service until December 4th. On December 3rd I called back and told AOL again I wanted to cancel my service so that I would not be charged for using AOL as for I did not want their service I do not go online often enough to pay their outrageous prices.

They debited my account $29.37. I am now in danger of having some checks bounce and incurring some NSF fees. I feel I should be reimbursed that money and if I do recieve NSF fees I feel AOL should repay them.

I no longer have their service why should I be charged for it. AOL employs people to mislead the public just to scam them and take their money.

AOL is no better than those people who lie to old people and steal their money. They do the same thing to the American public, and try to justify themselves for it. No matter what way you look at it, it is still extortion.
