Item Back Ordered

Ordered a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens @ $899 as advertised. Received a call that the order needed to be verified. I called and "verified the order" and the sales agent tried to sale me a bunch of accessories that I declined. I ordered with 3-day shipping. I called the expected day of delivery and was told that the item had not been shipped as it was back ordered (imagine that, I had just ordered the lens several days prior and verified the order and the sales person didn't mention anything about it being backordered). This site is a scam; I suspect that if you don't purchase the accessories that the lens will probably be in perpetual backordered status. The old saying "if it sounds too good to be true..." Still hold true.

Oh, they called me to verify the ordere, but supposedly emailed me to tell me that the item was backorderd. The customer rep. Told me it must have gone to my spam box... Not.
