Contacted in early August regarding my timeshare in Orlando. Had someone eager to buy the timeshare and pay past 2 yrs. Maintenance fees. After giving them my bank account number (BAD MISTAKE) I started looking into the company. They have several addresses list throughout the internet and complaints are numerous. I called my bank and stopped payment on check. They did not want me to notify my timeshare company of a pending sale of the property. The toll free phone number on their fax cover sheet goes back to Luxury Capital Group, which has their own website and appears to be located in Seattle, WA.
Same type of business and website. The first contract had no signatures from their company. When questioned about this, got an "oh, we must have overlooked that" answer. I never signed the contract and per my attorney, these are the typical scams that run the timeshare gammit. Do not be fooled. I send a fax, since they could never supply an email address, and included pages from usacomplaints.com site on the different complaints. They were advised to make no further contact or harassment charges would be filed. I too, am in the process of complaining to the Atty. General of Texas. These people should be ashamed of taking hard working people literally to the bank and producing no service in return.
