Took my money, never delivered the product, faked a refund to my credit card

Be careful whenever you deal with Everald Reid and/or Netlinx Communications. I met their salesperson who showed me samples of their product and I even called their past clients to confirm they delivered and that their service was an effective one before I signed up. I paid them 4 installments, and then after I got my ad finalized... I didn't hear anything more, and then I was told it was delayed but it would be delivered soon, sorry for the delay. I heard this again, and again and again... Month over month went by without delivery of product. I called my credit card company to ask them to dispute the charges but it was too late.

It was foolish of me to wait so long before disputing the transaction. I should have done so the moment they were late in delivery. The owner, Everald Reid, would call me back and apologize for not having delivered the product but he would "soon". Always a promise with this guy.

I then threatened that if he did not refund my money that I would put his name on the internet as a fraud like I am doing now. He had requested I didn't, and said he would refund my first installment if I wouldn't put the complaint online, and I told him ok, start by giving my first installment back and if you deliver in the next month you will not need to worry about giving me the rest back. He didn't refund the money and then a week later I contacted him again to refund it he didn't answer the phone but faxed me a "refund confirmation" in which he had taken my first payment invoice and wrote a "refund code" on it. Over a month later it still hadn't been returned to my bank account.

I understand that people get stuck in a tough situation, and I gave him plenty of time (1 whole year). However, it shows really poor character to fake providing a refund to me just to keep me from telling the truth about him and his business. I tried approximately 5 times to reach him and get an answer on my refund, and he decided no longer to answer or return my phone calls.

He is now working on re-organizing under some different business name if he is to be believed, and I would believe it because I am sure I am not the only one who he has ripped off.

He wanted my sympathy because he was going through a tough time, but I have gone through tough times also, and it doesn't help when I give significant money to someone to deliver something that I believe will help to promote my business and I lose that money and I don't even get the business from it.

Do not trust this man to deliver for you.

If he comes around and makes a refund, I will make an amendment or update on this report if I can (this is my first report and I do not know if the functionality allows this).
