TVMarketplace Horrible Customer Service! Ripoff

On Dec. 5th, I placed an order for 3 of the 20Q game balls. TVMarketplace.net had a good deal that if you buy 3, you get one free. I was buying these for Christmas presents. The week before Christmas, I still had not received these. I contacted the company by email, and they assurd me that I would have these by Christmas. The address I had given them was my company address, as this is where I am during the week.

The package was attempted to be delivered on Saturday, the 23rd. Well of course, no one was here to sign for it. When I returned to work on the 26th, they were delivered again. Since I didn't receive these in time, I went and bought them at a discount store instead.

Since I didn't need the extra games, I read TVMarketplace.net return policy, which states "Refunds are available within 15 days of receiving your product. The refund amount is the product cost minus 15% restocking fee and does not include shipping and handling fees. We also provide in store credit or replacements within 30 days of receiving the product. If you should have any questions please contact us. All returns must be authorized and must be trackable through a delivery confirmation code or a tracking code. Please use our contact page to request a refund."

I did contact them before the 15 day limit. Unfortunately, they would not answer the phone, return voice or email messages that I left. I went through this for a month at which time I then contacted the BBB online to file a complaint.

In Feb. the BBB contacted me back to say that this company had read my complaint and they would be happy to help me. They gave me an email address of an actual person, instead of just customer service, and told me that that person had said to contact them directly. It took him a week to answer my email, and then he told me to "re-breif" him because he couldn't remember what it was in regards too. (they must get a lot of complaints then!) I responded to him the same day.

I had to email him 3 more times, within a 7 week period before I got a response from him. He then said that they "had to check into it because it was noted that those products were delivered". DUH!!! I had told him that all I wanted was to be able to send the product back and get a refund. I asked him for a number where I could reach him direct because I received 4 more of the games. He avoided that question, told me that I could keep the product and still get have of my refund. I asked why only half, and he said because I was keeping the product. I told him I didn't WANT the product, just my money back. He told me to refuse the current shipment, and that they would send a call tag for the original shipment. Well, by this time (over 8 days) I had already received the product. He then told me that I would receive my refund once they received their product back.

Well, you can understand why, but I was very leery of that. I asked him how could I trust them to send me a refund? They hadn't done anything to help me so far. And this had been going on for 4 months! So then, a week later, he emails me and tells me my check has been sent. That was April 23rd. Today is June 12th. And I STILL have not received a check. I have tried to contact him via email and by phone several times. He doesn't return my emails, and when I call, it is always a random person.

When I ask for him by name, I always get "he is out at the moment". That is a load of BULL! This company is a RIP-OFF! Do NOT buy from them! I promise you that you can find the products somewhere else, and probably cheaper!
