Failure of conduct a thorough investigation into complaint

On December 14, our dog suffered a severe spine injury while in the custody of a Nye County Nevada veterinarian for a kidney x-ray. The injury finally resulted in paralysis of her hind limbs. A formal complaint was filed with the Nevada Veterinary Board of Examiners on September 28, against the veterinrian.

In January the Board's Vice-President telephoned to say that he had been chosen to make the recommendation; that our complaint was not serious enough to warrant a thorough investigation - case dismissed. Several days later a letter dated January 30, arrived from the Board stating that our complaint was investigated and case was dismissed.

Several months later we received a telephone call from the Executive Director in which she stated that the Board only conducts local investigations. During that time period we received a telephone call from a Board Investigator who stated that he was amazed that I didn't yell and swear at him.
