Sales Manager Continuous Threats To Keep Your Jo

Here are the problems with FleetMatics.

When you are hired they tout how they are going to train you when in reality there is no training. This is a technology company and you would think they would want people to understand and learn how can GPS benefit a company. Now they do train you how to use Sales Force and dial a phone. They expect you to dial 80-120 times a day again not knowing really what you are selling. When you do finally get an appointment by luck sometimes you now have to pass it over to what they call "Senior Representatives". Since you are passing your appointment to someone else you really will never get the opportunity to advance your experience in GPS Technology. As I say this again there is no training. The sales manager of the Chicago Web Team will have you listen to others on how they do it. This sales manager is not capable of training or managing people.

When you do not hit your number or target within 90 days the sales manager will bring you into his office and point out all of your flaws but will not provide you with assistance to better yourself.

How can one better themselves without any training or assistance?

There are constant threats within the office and the management looks the other way. If you do file a complaint it goes nowhere as they sweep it under the rug.

FleetMatics health insurance is subpar for the size of the company they are. They dental is laughable and if you decide to join their 401k they do not even put a measly 2% into the fund for you.

That should tell you a lot about how FleetMatics thinks of their own employees not even to match 2%.

Why should they invest in you when they have no plans on keeping you around longer than maybe 6 months.

If you want a job where you dial 80-120 times a day, pass all your leads to senior reps, get no support from the sales manager, lousy health and dental insurance, a 401k that is a waste of money, 5 days of vacation after your first year then FleetMatics is for you.
