They got me for petty larcney when special circumstances applyed

About 5 months ago i was shopping at sears when i got a shocking phone call. My father had passed away from a sudden heart attack. Well at the time i was in the perfume isle and spraying tester well not paying attention i put a emty tester bottle in my pocket didnt even relize i had done well they stoped me and my husband on the way out the door and confronted me i argued and then i relized what had happened and tryed to explain. And asked the most sensible question. Why would i steal an emty bottle of perfume on purpose

My husband offered to pay the 19 dollars anyway when they took me back they had a hispanic man there as well whom was compairing prices and size and was accused of stealing he produced a reciept and now the judge of this case is trying to give me 180 days for this and sears is trying to charge me 250 for this i think they should have thought the situation out better after all they were just itching to bust someone anyone i will never shop there again and i have a lot of friends and family whom have credit cards with them and they have all stopped shopping there they agree with me they should pick there employes a little better they are very uncompassionate...
