NO training, No communication, rude nasty customer service, overcharges on invoices

My complaints toward Avon are so many I don't know where to begin. The very first day I signed up online. I hadno idea what or where to go from there. No one contacted me, I had to find someone to give me a number to call. After several days of waiting I did get a number for the local District Manager. I called her for 4 weeks (she lives less then 10 miles from me). She didn't return any calls, answer any voice mails. I had no idea what to do. I kept calling, I called Avon headquarters asking for some direction as where to get started selling Avon. I never received the starter kit that I paid $10.00 for online. When I met the District Manager a month later she said she was in a motel in Florida that is why she didn't answer the calls. She told me she'd get me started and give me some leads to produce sales. She never called me again. I tried to sell Avon it was a waste of time. I asked for help with finding customers and how to get my business growing at a meeting. That was a waste of time also. The meetings are directed only to the top sellers. The rest may as well stay home. The #1 person is the one that the meeting is for. That is wrong. The invoices for my orders and sales were always full of chargers that I had no idea what they were for. Every time I had to return something, Avon sent wrong, I had to pay for that also. The fees and service charges are more than I earned. Of course when you call Avon, you speak to someone in India. UNLESS your a top seller then you speak to an American (That was told at a meeting, They should have never said that, it makes the rest feel like fools). When I sent back a shirt, they said they never received it. I had to pay for the shirt $17.99 tax shipping. The woman from India told me "YOU are wrong you did not send it back." I have talked to my UPLINE she was in the Bronx NY. I am in GA, I asked for help so many times. But she is over a thousand miles away. The local women are NOT going to tell you anything. They say. "find out for yourself" When I got started I had 3 women start shortly after me. They were in "My unit" I was told by the office at Avon I was not in leadership because I needed 4 women by a certain date. I was not told this at any time. I was never paid the "bonus money" for recruiting new people. This really made me upset. I was not told any of this as well as not paid. After a few months I tried again for leadership... Again I had 2 women join in my unit. I was never paid for signing them up either. I asked about it NO one had an answer. I bought 2 recruit kits for $10.00 each. The day I quit I mailedl them as well as a 4 page letter overnight to the office in NY. They received it, because they called me a month later. They said they did not get the recruit kits. I told the woman. "You had to they were in with the letter your reading to me." She denied it saying they could give me $20.00 worth of Avon. I wanted my money back, they refused to pay me my money back for the two kits. The way I see it Avon owes me for all the over charges on my invoices, the shirt I sent back, the recruits both times as well as the two recruit kits. They kept my money and I think they mislead everyone about how to sell Avon. It is a cut throat buisness. The women in my area run this like a "secret Society of women" They are back stabbers and liars. One called me screaming at me for putting books on her street. NO one owns any territory with Avon. If there is a class action suit with Avon please put my name with the rest of the ones that were ripped off. Avon scams people.
