Corporation Avon Reps lied to and sent to India if they have questions Any City

I made the mistake of becoming an Avon Representative to earn a little extra money because I used their products and so did a lot of people in my area (where there was no representative.

I was lied to about the commission (was told it was 50% for everything with an Avon brand). I continually asked why I wasn't getting the commission and the question was either ignored or I was told to address my questions to Avon.com. Those question go to India and are answered with form letters in poor English that have nothing to do with the question!

There were many other questions, including those about inconsistencies in billing and extra charges I was never told about that were suddenly popping up. Fortunately, I kept copies of all correspondence from Avon, where "leaders" gave me half truths, ignored my questions and sent me to India.

I am trying to decide at the moment between a lawsuit (I wasted a lot of time I could have been making money to end up in the negative with Avon) or an expose for a major magazine (I am a well-published author and I've already spoken to some very interested editors). Before I make a decision, I'd like to hear some stories from other reps who have had these type of experiences with Avon, or lawyers that have dealt with suits against them.

So much for the great American company for women!
