Switched without notice

I was also in the same situation as the elderly man, who got tricked into switching service provider. A rep from GMC came up to me to offer information to look into switching (some reading material). I thought ok, it would not hurt to get information on the company. The rep stated that they just needed some information from me and a signature on their form. They also explained to me that I will not get switched by signing the form, which was a straight out lie. A month later I received a bill from Green Mountain.

If Green Mountain hired these reps without screening them. Green Mountain should be responsible for any wrong doing by the reps. Such as tricking people into switching by offering reading materials.
