Argonne Recycling
Ben Roman Came to our home and picked up silver nitrate and never paid

Shops, Products, Services

This company sent out broadcast faxes advertising pickup and purchase of metals. Specifically silver. We had 65 pounds (a large amount) of pure silver nitrate from an old chemical project. I contacted them and they described a longstanding business that did lots of business in Minnesota servicing hospitals and clinics with silver recovery from old x rays and such. Ben Roman came weighed the material and gave me a receipt for it. He stated that a check would be coming from the accounts payable department after it was processed into pure silver. Then cam the excuses. A year of phone calls and attempts to contact followed. I believe this was a scam from the very beginning. Please do not trust this company.
