Posed as a doctor working with AIDS prevention coming from Spain in 2 weeks time to move into my apartment. Did not provide information asked, luckily I saw a report about her in time!

I posted an add on Craig's list about an apartment for rent. I got a reply from Estefania A. Raymond. Everything seemed fine and we exchanged many e-mails. I thought something was a little weird when she did not seem to understand that I would not be living in the apartment with her even though I stated it many times.

Estefania also could not sign the lease because she was in a remote area with no scanner or printer although she sent me the address of a hospital in Scotland that she was currently working at. She also tried to rush the process along saying her financier was leaving the country and wouldn't be back for 2 months. She was due to arrive in 2 weeks time, but when I asked her the exact date of her arrival she could not tell me.

Luckily right before I sent my address I googled her name just to see what would come up. I found others who reported scams and an exact word for word e-mail that she had sent me days earlier.
