ICON Security would be all over you if you did not comply with your contract with them down to the letter - especially if it meant they wouldn't get every penny from you that they could. They offered me a 25% reduction per month left on the term of my contract if I paid them the full amount due less 25% what I owed them.

I owed them five months of payments and the payments were $39.99 per month. With a 25% reduction it ade the cost only $29.99 per month for a total of $149.96 as my final payment that paid them the full amount less 25%.

Then they call me because I put in my letter to them that I wanted to make sure that I was going to still be getting my home security protection as stated in my contract through the end of September. So they got my money and what did I get, the cancellation of my home protection 5 months early and they got $149.96 out of my pocket that they did not earn. This really makes me mad as I am sure that it would you!

So, buyer beware - ICON Security is out to get your money one way or another! They also had me sign a contract with them before the end of my contract was over with my current security system supplier, by telling me that that company had gone out of business and I found out later that they hadn't.

My suggestion to you is get a big dog to protect you home, it will cost less and you don't have any contracts to sign.
