Expensive, undelivered photographs paid $6,000 & nothing to show for it

Our wedding was photographed in April by J Paul Studios in Metuchen, NJ. On June 8, my husband and I sat down with the "artist" and developed a very expensive album. We have paid a total of $6000, and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Our album was promised to us for September, and here it is nearly Christmas and we still have nothing to show to our families. Not only do we not have the finished product, but we don't even have the "good" proofs, as they have kept them.
After all this time, we don't even care about these pictures anymore. No one is going to want to sit down with us to look at them because this wedding is old news. Our phone calls are getting us nowhere. During this, the 26th week of waiting, we are tired and just want our money back.
