Do not use this law firm! Ridiculous charges and service

I've retained this law firm on March 30th for amount of $2500 dollars for my brother's immigration case. Per wishes of my brother, we decided not retain the law firm two days later. When the request for refund was made, I was given the run arounds for 12 days before finally receiving partial refund which was $2000. They charged me for two hours service for FEW PHONE CALLS MADE! $500??

On the day I picked up the refund check and stated that "$500 dollars is lot to charge me for few phone calls", I received a very condecending response from the the law firm staff who signed me the check. She said "yeah, we charge a lot so that clients don't call us too much." That is not a nice thing to say just because I've decided to cancel the retainer for my brother's case and was no longer their client.

First of all, going back to the original retainer agreement, there's no statment explaining that the law firm charges $250 dollars an hour. If I knew, I would of not retained this law firm. Secondly, I was never informed by the attorney or anyone from the law firm of the hourly service rate.

Last thing I want to say is that this law firm has failed to show or send me the billable hour service statement, explaining how it totalled $500 dollars.

The day I request the refund check was April 1st and they I received the refund check for $2000 was April 13th.

The day I requested to see the billable hour statement was April 13th and I was promised that I will receive it in the mail in few days. It's April 29th and I still have not received letter from Vienna Law Group.

Please do not use this law firm. Staffs are rude and they treat their clients like dirt. How can anyone trust a law firm when they don't even show you how and what I'm being charged for?
